With team coaching, the question is always to what extent it does not remain on the surface. A good coach must be able to break through that layer of varnish, without becoming the elephant in the china shop. Natasja can do this like no other.
There is now much more connection in the MT. There is also awareness of our joint task as leaders of the organization.
Natasja also supervised a session with us when things were really rough and that went very well. By asking the right questions, you get a different conversation and then the roughness also leads to something. She put us as leaders back in the right role. As a result, we came out with a more unambiguous message. And that gave more peace in the organization
I would definitely recommend The Teamcoach, especially to teams that have been experiencing for some time that the burden of not taking action is becoming greater than the fear of taking action.
I don't think I had any major doubts, because I felt like we had been in a deadlock for a long time. We knew we wouldn't get out of this on our own. We already had several conversations. And at some point, conversations also escalate. Then you start avoiding each other, things don't go well anymore, and you just feel that things aren't right. So something had to happen.
Maybe the only doubt I had was whether it would be a bit too vague. Or whether it would be a bit of a standard story where after 2 days you think: well, this didn't really help us much.
What was the result?
The result is 100% positive. It has turned 180 degrees now in the DT. There is normal communication again, there is good consultation, there is involvement, and it all just works much more pleasantly again.
We have now also started talking to the staff. We see such a difference compared to six months ago. Others also say: You are communicating in agreement again.
I can definitely recommend De Teamcoach, not only because it has been successful with us, but I also found it to be very enjoyable and surprising.
Team coaching has given us that the air is cleared. The things that were very difficult are now gone and we have a toolset with which we can prevent it from getting so escalated again in the future. We can analyze where problems come from and what lies behind them.
For me personally it has also resulted in me being more okay with taking responsibility. I have stepped more into my leadership role.

“We thought the problem was with the project management. Natasja Hoex saw something completely different. She and her colleague pinpointed the problem with us, the steering committee. That was a bit of a shock. But it was the reason why we chose De Teamcoach.”
Erik Roelfsema, Philips Health Care Incubator
In our management team there was quite a lot of doubt about doing team coaching, because at first we always thought that the problem was solved when certain people left. But then the problem was there again. Especially the men thought that it would be much too soft for our company. In the end we had to.
And gladly so. The team coaching has ensured that we have come to know each other much better in various areas. Finally a little understanding for each other's approach instead of all those allergies.
In addition, Natasja has triggered us to think differently about the role of our management team and the organization.
We are much more aware of what we have in terms of DNA and from there we have reformulated our joint vision and goals. And above all we have made a super concrete action plan that we have started working on immediately.

Before we started team coaching we doubted whether it would suit us. We are part-time politicians, is it necessary to forge a good team bond?
We now talk to each other in a completely different way. Personal interests and dilemmas are better discussed than before.
I would definitely recommend team coaching from De Teamcoach. I think De Teamcoach fits very well with political teams. Everyone sees: if I start playing a game here, she will see through it.
Arend Meijer, Chairman of the D66 PS faction
Despite not knowing in advance whether team coaching would be worth the time investment, I still got into it. Because I believe that if you talk, you can understand each other better and put yourself in the other person's shoes. In addition, I hoped in advance that it would at least give me tools for myself.
For me as a leader it has resulted in me leading more assertively. I am clearer in boundaries, but I also see the patterns more clearly now.

I find your style, Natasja, open and very candid. You connect well. And I think you have an eye for everyone. You keep a very good eye on that neutral helicopter view, which is of course necessary to remain impartial.
Henrieke Schiltkamp, Municipality of Montferland
We didn't really have any doubts about starting the team coaching, because we had already agreed with the three board members to do so, because we thought that would really be good for our mutual cooperation. The question was more like: "Are you the right coach, so that I can show everything? That I really say and really show what concerns me and what I'm up against. That I dare to expose myself."
In the first conversation I was looking for: “Do we have a certain connection in such a way that you can touch me?” Because otherwise I am very good at just giving some kind of socially desirable answer, or at least not exposing myself, which would mean that I would not achieve enough with coaching.
Nowadays you have a lot of coaches, so you can't really see the wood for the trees. When we first met, we really had the feeling: "Yes, she understands what we're up against." And Natasja immediately led us to a different path than what we were thinking about. And that suited us much better. It was actually an eye-opener right away. I think that introductory meeting was already half a coaching meeting.
We got to know each other much better as management during the team coaching. Also because Natasja took us back to the past of the organization: how/what/why we became the way we are and are the way we are. We have more understanding for each other and we sense each other much better. And it also opened my eyes about myself. How I react and why I do that. And how that comes across to the other. And whether you want it that way.
It was also quite emotional at times and at that moment I found that annoying. But that was what I wanted, to be touched, and that was also very good. Then something can really change.
What Natasja does differently from others is that she has a way of doing things with a lot of variation. A lot of playfulness, bits of theory, sharp exercises, going into depth. There is a very clear program and at the same time the whole program changes when something important happens.

Natasja Hoex initially helped us find our shared identity and purpose and then discovered together with us that there was a MT blockage to properly give shape to this purpose.
Quite a tough nut to crack, especially because it was a process in which the cause is sometimes in places you would never have expected beforehand.
The team coaching of our management team peeled away many layers, making it crystal clear which decisions we had to make.
Now we are a few years further and we are very happy that we started this path. Our team has found its purpose and does what it is meant to do, our company is running like a Swiss watch again.
